This investment in training and development begins from the moment new employees join the company’s induction programme and continues throughout their entire career. A series of training and development programmes has been built around the belief that by supporting individual learning needs, Ashfield can deliver the kind of success that clients demand of us and provide the kind of career progression that employees are entitled to expect.
Each of the courses can be tailored to meet the needs of clients and individuals within project teams. New courses are being developed on an ongoing basis and can be written in line with specific client requirements.

For our Field Based Regional Managers we are introducing a new range of 'Management Essentials' programmes to ensure continuous development.
The Ashfield In2Focus Induction Programme - This programme introduces Operational Excellence to new Field Based Regional Managers defining the Management role within the future success of the company. Minimum standards are defined and Department Heads give an overview of company policies, procedures and deadlines.
The Management Induction programme - The objectives of this training programme are to introduce newly appointed managers to the key skills and knowledge they require to successfully make the transition into line management. The programme will be highly interactive in nature and will be based around case studies of real life situations to ensure the learning is pragmatic and applicable.
On successful completion of the Management Induction Programme, Regional Managers are offered training courses based on individual Training Needs Analysis (TNA) including -
Management Essentials Programme includes four modules
Self Leadership (1.5 days) – an introduction to Applied Emotional Intelligence, Personal Leadership Charter and Firo B
Situational Leadership (2 days) – diagnosing individual Performance, Flexing leadership style and Partnering for performance.
Team Leadership (2.5 days) – Diagnosing Team performance, Developing Critical Team Skills, MBTI.
Performance Coaching (2 days) – Highly practical coaching skills programme, MBTI Step 11, Implementation and application of modules 1-3
Leadership Master Class – These courses will be run at regional venues and will be practically based around real life case studies.
Attendance at these modules will depend on successful completion of the Management Essentials Programme.
