Boehringer Ingelheim, through Ashfield In2Focus, are currently recruiting for Specialist Representatives to work across primary and secondary care.  The successful candidate will be required to meet and exceed agreed territory sales targets within budget, and in accordance with overall marketing strategy.

Key responsibilities:

·         Deliver sales and business objectives, working productively with team members in line with marketing/operational strategy within agreed budget

·         Develop, implement and monitor high quality account plans. Excellent at customer relationship management.

·         Communicates on a regular basis with ROM, colleagues and  other key stakeholders in order to facilitate the achievement of business objectives

·         Demonstrates full accountability for understanding and adherence to industry and company policies and procedures

·         Responsible for attaining high levels of product, competitor, therapy area and environmental knowledge of promoted lines and.

·         Responsible for attaining a high level of selling skills in line with BI selling model

·         Responsible for upholding the professional image of Boehringer Ingelheim at all times


Essential Skills:

·         Degree level or equivalent

·         Principles of account management

·         Understanding of the NHS organisation, priorities and networks

·         ABPI qualification (understanding and adherence)

·         Therapy area knowledge and brand strategies

·         IT literate (Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook)

·         Solution focused  

·         Analytical skills
